Keynote by Prof. Eric Vance: “LISA2020: Building Statistics and Data Science Capacity to Transform Evidence into Action”

Abstract:

This keynote presentation will describe the history and mission of the LISA 2020 program to build statistical analysis and data science capacity in developing countries. The keynote will be followed by a virtual parade of stat labs comprising the LISA 2020 Network to answer the question: Did we achieve our goal of creating a network of at least 20 stat labs in developing countries by 2020?
